Sydney FC Simulate a Personality

This weekend the A League’s battlers, Central Coast Mariners were forced to battle a little bit more because of Sydney’s slick feet. By ‘slick feet’ I mean; feet that somehow can’t retain decent contact with the ground, forcing players to fall uncontrollably to the ground, diving.

Premier League Preview: Why Manchester United Need to be Wary of Arsenal

Manchester United have hit the ground running in their opening Premier League fixtures this season picking up a maximum six points from their two matches so far and will be looking to make it nine from nine as Arsenal travel to Old Trafford this weekend. Sydney FC drop the bar to raise the bar much, much higher than before

Great news today with Sydney F.C. announcing the signing of Brett Emerton on a three year deal. Ok, Ok… I will serve myself a hepling of humble pie after my inept criticism of Sydney F.C in my previous blog. Kewell, Bresciano and Neill Favour the Jewels

Lucas Neill and Mark Bresciano have announced moves to clubs in the Middle East, Neill to Al Jazira, Bresciano to Al Nasr. Apparently today Harry Kewell, the greatest Sydney born footballer and perfect marquee for Sydney f.c is about to sign with Sydney’s arch-rivals Melbourne Victory.

Manchester City – Contenders or Pretenders?

The Premier League is under way. Football fans around the world have something to do with all that time! Just don’t get too excited if you’re a Wigan fan because I’m expecting all Paul Jewell’s (and to a lesser extent, Steve Bruce) hard work going down the drain.

For the first time in a while I’m seeing an open race for the title, between Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. United are deserved favourites, but I wouldn’t rule out the others.
