Welcome to the first post of The Diagonal Run.
The idea for this blog came up during a heated conversation about football. Unlike most gossip pages or ‘expert panels’ we hope to stimulate an open discussion of football by offering our opinions on matches, refereeing decisions, issues in the game and anything else for you to read and tear apart at our mercy.
Feel free to voice your thoughts and opinions throughout the blog, your ideas are just as important as ours! We want this blog to be a discussion between us as fans. We always love feedback (both good and bad) so we can continually improve the blog and we’d love to hear from all of you.
We are eagerly awaiting the 2010 FIFA World Cup final as you most likely are. Our first match analysis will be the World Cup final but we won’t be relying on a psychic octopus for help. Join us then so we can reflect on the match and the tournament in general.
